When it comes to car seats, I always think of big, bulky and heavy, this seat is nothing of the sort. Its extremely lighter than I expected but feels sturdy and secure when in my car. This is extremely easy to set up out of the box and can be easily installed and dissembled out of the box. Reasonably priced considering its job, highly recommend!

This infant carrier can be installed using the traditional seatbelt method or via an isofix base. When used with the latter, this seat meets i-size and R129 standards meaning that it has undergone more advanced side-impact testing. For me, other than the fact that the car seat has undergone rigorous safety testing, the main selling point is that it is only 3.3kg in weight. It is really light and easy to transport from the car to the house, especially if you’ve had a c-section and are limited to what you can carry. The car seat is a rear facing seat, suitable for babies up to 15 months old. It can also clip on to some of the Graco pushchair bases, making it even more quick and convenient as a travel system. All in all, it is a really good price for an infant seat which has such excellent safety standards.

Grace have always been a trustworthy company with quality products which you need to know when buying for your precious little one. They can be on the heavy side though due to the quality materials used though this seat is actually very manageable. It importantly is rated to the new R129 standards from the UK and EU which amongst other things demands better side impact protection. It is a rear facing cot for infants up to around 15 months. What I love is the washable covers and the fact that as Jr grows you don’t have to rethread the seat belts as they fully adjust to the child’s growth. Material is comfortable and hard wearing and all the fixings like seat belt are there to keep your young one safe. Superb seat that exceeds current safety standards without breaking the bank.

The last thing you need to add to the list of things to lug around is a heavy car seat. This thing is a lot lighter than I expected, but still feels sturdy and secure and is very easy to fix into the car. A few friends are expecting and have commented on how they prefer this one to the ones they've been gifted so imagine they'll be getting one of their own! It's reasonably priced considering the job it has to do and is a great starter seat.
