Can't beat a Maxi Cosi carseat for a small/preemie newborn! This is our second one as we loved our first but have a bit age gap. Our first child was 5lb and our second a tiny 3lb and both have fit nicely and safely when leaving the hospital. The seats fit on to so many different pushchairs and travel systems which is handy. Great value for money and has a lovely comfortable design with the added bonus of not being too heavy for the parents. We have a base for ours but love that you can use the seat belt to secure if using a different vehicle

Great car seat at a great price. Maxicosi is a reputable company. All my children have used the same car seat brand/design. The baby seems very comfortable in her seat. Easy to take the cover off to clean. Easy to use with a base (bought separately). Not used with the seatbelt option.

Easy to use isofix base. I couldn’t install it whilst pregnant, I just couldn’t do it, my husband had to but he did it easily. I know how to remove it but again I just can’t do it. Good value for money as it’s so cheap a car seat and base. Very happy.

Baby is very comfortable in this seat. It is easy to install with a seatbelt and it’s quite light and easy to carry about. The only things I would change are the canopy seems to come loose a fair bit and you have to keep clipping it back on. The other thing is I wish the was a one handed way of unclipping the seat from the pram, there are two buttons either side and it can be a little awkward. Overall definitely worth the money.

This is an exceptionally light seat - the first thing I noticed about it! When you have a baby to cart around this is important and a real plus point for the seat compared to my previous car seat, which was extremely heavy to lug around. It seems pretty safe - obviously haven’t tested it in a crash! - and fits firmly in place with the ISO fix. However it is also good with just a seatbelt which I have used when we have travelled in taxis and Ubers. My baby really likes it - by that I mean they are sleeping beautifully in it. They seem very comfortable and snug. It’s also very easy to transfer onto our buggy with the clips you can buy. Overall this is a great product - very convenient and safe!

I must have got a faulty one as after a week the seat (correct Cabrio Fix i-size seat) wouldn't click into the base anymore. Possibly something to do with the fit in my car (Vauxhall Mokka) as it worked when out of the car, but not when installed. According to the Maxi Cosi website it should be compatible though. I returned and repurchased a slightly more expensive FamilyFix3 isize base which has worked better.

Un peu onéreuse mais elle est bien pensée pour les adaptateurs iso fix. Pour enclipser le siège bébé (maxi cosy cabrio fix isize) juste l inserer ça fait clic et pour le retirer j avais énormément de mal mais il fallait juste non pas appuyer dessus directement mais appuyer vers le bas puis ensuite appuyer pour d'éclipser le siège auto et c est super simple. Tout est ajustable, longueur adaptateur isofix, longueur du bras frontal. Satisfait et bébé aussi.

Ho acquistato questa base isofix da abbinare al seggiolino (ovetto) maxi così, in modo da poterlo installare in sicurezza sull’auto di mio marito che ha il sistema isofix. La base si installa in pochi istanti, le istruzioni sono semplici e chiare. Una volta installato il seggiolino la tenuta risulta ben stabile anche grazie al braccio che propende verso il basso che aiuta a tenere in posizione il tutto. Sebbene il seggiolino si possa assicurare anche utilizzando la sola cintura di sicurezza, mi sento di consigliare anche la relativa base per una sicurezza ancora maggiore.
