The first thing I noticed is that the base is fairly lightweight but given the nature of the product that it still needs to have some weight to it. The second thing I noticed is that the leg that secures the base isn’t flapping around everywhere, it clips into the bottom making the install easier. There is always an amount of learning when installing new bases and car seats but this one was pretty straight forward, there is a reassuring click to show its fitted well, likewise when you fit your seat to the base there is a clear green sign to tell you it’s secure. There are grippy straps to ensure the base doesn’t slide around. Not that you can see much of it but the colour and design matches my car seats and looks decent.

We bought a range of seats and bases to find which was the best, most secure option for our little one. This was by far the best we found when it comes to price/value. This base is VERY robust and I'm very confident. My only complaint is that I think the maxi cosy ranges should be interchangable. We got this which was great for my partners 5 door car but I drive a sports car so the '360' was essentially useless to me so I got an S base thinking I could use it as a 'Static' base in the Mustang. I was wrong but what makes it worse is it looks like the there is an area under the seat for an extra bar to 'clip in'. It's just this is such a good range and I feel interchangablity would make the sense not to mention cut down on waste. We got the gorgeous green seat to match. It quickly becomes the aesthetic we went for with our travel system. I am usually someone who likes to pick things apart and find issues. This seat is flawless. If they did adult ones I'd be confident it would handle any rally stage globally haha. As a bloke you can strap the kid in and confidently say to yourself, "yep, that's not going anywhere"

We hadden al eerder een FamilyFix, dus we wisten dat de kwaliteit goed was, en aangezien de baby erg snel groeit, hadden we de nieuwe stoel nodig en besloten we voor de Pearl 360 te gaan, samen met de FamilyFix 360. Deze ISOFIX-basis is zeer eenvoudig in gebruik, biedt gemak, veiligheid en flexibiliteit in één. Het installeren ervan is super eenvoudig en het is ook goed dat het wordt geleverd met audio-navigatie en een kliksysteem, anders zouden we niet zeker zijn geweest of we alles correct hadden gedaan. Het past in verschillende auto's, we moesten het hele systeem uit de auto halen en in de auto van onze ouders plaatsen, en dat ging snel en soepel - binnen enkele minuten zat alles op zijn plek. Fantastisch dat dit zo snel en gemakkelijk kan. Dit bespaart veel tijd en stress. Op advies van een vriend besloten we dit keer voor een 360-graden draaisysteem te gaan, waardoor het in- en uitnemen van de baby super eenvoudig en snel is geworden. Naarmate hij groeit, is het een beetje moeilijk om hem uit de stoel te krijgen zonder ver de auto in te moeten reiken en hem eigenlijk eruit te trekken, maar nu met dit 360-systeem kan ik niet uitleggen hoe prettig en gemakkelijk het is geworden. Je hoeft alleen maar de stoel met één hand te draaien terwijl je de groene markering op de FamilyFix 360-basis ziet, en de stoel draait mooi naar je toe. Grote dank aan deze uitvinding voor mijn rug en een slapende baby, die ik nu niet meer hoef wakker te maken om in of uit de auto te halen! We zijn erg blij dat we dit voor onze jongen hebben gekregen en zijn er zeker van dat dit een geweldige stoel voor hem zal zijn totdat hij veel ouder is.
